The Milk Sea Scenic Area is situated within the nature reserve. It is a glacial lake resembling a drop of milk and covers an area of 0.5 hectares. Yading is the village ไบไธๆ located in Daocheng and it is a transliteration of a Tibetan word which meansย a place where the sun stays very long (ๅ้ณไนๅฐ). Because the village is near the nature reserve, and hence its name was borrowed to label such an idyllic place.
